Due to a current rash of
email messages being sent
falsely under the name of the
Census Bureau, the Better
Business Bureau (BBB) serv­
ing MissiSSIppI offers the
following fa.cts about the 2010

The U. S.- Census Bureau
will not send email messages
to obtain or verify information
or to solicit donations.
Census workers will not
begin going door-to-door until
April. The campaign will end
in july.
Field Representatives will
never ask for your Social
Security number, bank ac­
count information or credit
card numbers.
