The Committee on Budgets had considered the proposal for transfer of appropriations No 48/2001
(C5-0532/2001 SEC(2001) 1762 final).

The committee decided, pursuant to Article 26(5)(a) of the Financial Regulation, to authorise the transfer in
accordance with the following breakdown:

FROM:

Chapter B0-23 Guarantee reserve


Article B0-230 Reserve for loans and loan guarantees to and in non-member
countries NDA − 9 000 000 €

TO:

Chapter B0-24 Payments to the Guarantee Fund


Article B0-240 Payments to the Guarantee Fund in respect of new operations NDA 9 000 000 €

Should the Council’s decision differ from Parliament’s, a trialogue must be organised on the basis of
paragraph 23 of the Interinstitutional Agreement of 6 May 1999.

8. Follow-up to Parliament’s opinions and resolutions


The Commission statement on follow-up given to the opinions and resolutions adopted by Parliament
during the July 2001 part-session had been distributed.

9. Agenda
The President recalled that the order of business had been established (Item 10 of Minutes of 12 November
2001).

She announced that a number of changes had been proposed which had been communicated to Members.
