Bryan Mok (2010 Graduate)

He is a hardworking student. He had achieved 5 distinctions for his ‘N’ Level

exams in 2009 and continued to excel in his ‘O’ Level exams in 2010.

He has worked hard to achieve that result, and also managed to balance his
studies and CCA (Chinese Orchestra), even though he participated regularly in
his CCA. Bryan was also the chairman of Chinese Orchestra.

He has been participating actively in events for the school’s Chinese Orchestra
as well as those of other Chinese Orchestras outside of Siglap Secondary School.

When he was in Sec 1, he participated in the East Zone Music Camp which was
held in Dunman High School. When he was in Sec 4, he participated in the CCAB
Chinese Orchestra Music Camp. When he was in Sec 2 and Sec 4, he participated
in the C’est La Vie, a school performance held once in every 2 years.

These were the many opportunities the school has given him, along with many
numerous performances within the school.

Bryan has participated in many Chinese Orchestras externally such as New

Horizons Chinese Orchestra which is stationed in Elias Community Centre.

In 2009, he performed at an old folks’ home with his Chinese Orchestra as part of
his community service which allowed him to receive CIP hours as well as CCA
points.

From participating in community service, external Chinese Orchestra activities,

as well as the school’s Chinese Orchestra, Bryan has received many CIP hours as
well as CCA points.
In early 2009, he collected enough CIP hours and CCA points to achieve a
distinction for CCA, which then allowed him to deduct 2 points from his ‘O’ Level
results and take his ideal poly courses that require very few points.
