Abandon all hope if you think the Nokia N8 is a direct competitor

of Desire HTC handsets as the HD, the Samsung iPhone Galaxy S or 4 because it is not (nor, probably, he
wants to be). Give up hope if you are also those who love Nokia, Android and switched to expect them
back N8 faith in Symbian. You will not find anything like that here.

Since its first appearance, the Nokia N8 has raised many expectations, perhaps too many. The design
change, the interesting technical features, and discussed ad nauseum, and the debut of Symbian 3 have
caused rivers of ink on the possibilities of the new flagship of the Finnish company.

After a long week of use, we have the bittersweet feeling that the Nokia N8 is a great phone that could
have gone much further were it not for the baggage of an operating system that does not deserve.
Undoubtedly, the N8 has its audience, but I doubt very much that the public comes from very advanced
users or other operating systems than Symbian.

Experience with Symbian 3

I recently talked about Microsoft's courage in making a fresh start with your Windows Phone 7. For
Symbian 3 is just the opposite, although it must be said in defense that the predecessor of Windows
Phone 7 (Windows Mobile 6.5) was horrible operating system on some terminals, while the predecessor
of Symbian 3 (Symbian S60) is stable and offers a consistent user experience on all phones that lead.
In this sense, the commitment Nokia has been conservative. The company has introduced numerous
improvements in this new version to avoid the criticism it suffered with the N97. The problem is that
many of these improvements are internal and the average user will find just aesthetic differences with
the S60 series. One could almost say that Delorean style housing, with the camera sticking out, is a
prelude to the return to the 90 that we experience when pressed again Nokia's icons of a lifetime.
Needless to say, this is wonderful for Symbian users who want something more, but less so for those
who have tried IOS, Android Phone or Windows itself and most dramatic changes expected.

The most obvious Symbian 3 is the addition of three desks in which we can place widgets, applications
and access to programs on a predetermined grid. The system also incorporates multi-touch support and
contextual menus pop. Maybe something from the first version, but one of my biggest frustrations with
the terminal has been slow menus, very evident when compared with the speed of an iPhone 4 or a
high-end Android. Desktops, where it is most noticeable, with a minimum slip but exasperating delay,
feeling aggravated by the touch screen, whose sensitivity is not as high as others in the market and
forcing almost a 'push' a little, even capacitive .

Interestingly, the N8 is not at all, a slow terminal internally. Faced with a One and a Samsung Nexus S
Galaxy, is capable of opening each of the applications at the same speed or even faster. Perhaps the
speed of the menus is just a matter of style and server is taking things crazy.
metimes not very intuitive. This is especially noticeable in areas such as connectivity, where the phone
asks again and again the configuration of access points for each of the applications. If you want a closed
experience and easily as an iPhone 4, N8 can reach resultarte irritating. The reverse of this coin is that,
going into the settings, there are few options that are not easily changed at will without having to make
a jailbreak at the terminal, install multiple applications and entrusted to the Holy Jobs.

We must also acknowledge that 3 is fully multitasking Symbian and incorporating details such as copy-
paste text, or the ability to view, hold down the menu key, which applications have open to close you
want easily.

Nokia N8, outstanding multimedia

Not everyone would be hit. The Nokia N8 enjoys a section image and sound quality. The camera, for
example, is able, with the limitations of a mobile phone to take extraordinary photographs and video.
Your configuration options are plentiful and the brightness and color fidelity are close to what you can
offer a compact camera. In the next picture you can see an example of how to capture the colors (from
left to right) N8, a Nexus One, iPod Touch and a Samsung Ex1.
Another positive aspect is its ability to run all kinds of video files. After having tested with DivX and MKV,
the terminal has only been resisted by synchronizing the audio from a DivX concrete after forward and
backward playback bad milk.

Another very functional detail is the HDMI connection. Simply plug the phone to a TV for the movie we
go immediately to be played on the big screen. During playback in this mode, the video no longer
displayed on the phone to save battery. Sometimes we realize that, if not close the play before
disconnecting the cable, the phone still connected, and not considering leaving to watch videos relevant
reboot. Nokia N8 Price in India…..
