Liberian assistant for the U.S department.
 Later on became a science professor

 He write this book because he want to teach

 The Book
 Bury my heart at wounded knee is a national
best seller published in 1970
 The main idea of the book is the History about
Native American. It begins, when Columbus
arrive in the U.S and named the Americans
“Indians”.
 The author wrote the book because he want to
expressed the American Indian perspectives of
injustices and also betrayals of the U.S
Governments.

we don’t tell the story it will be lost.

 Despite many acceptance by journalists and the general


public, scholars, the books was selected to present a
particular point of view, rather then being balanced.
 Brown’s intention was to present the history of the
settlement of the West from the point of view of the
Indians, "its victims”.

 The American Government didn’t want to admit


that the Native American had a lifestyle, culture
and tradition.
 Brown point of view was to express and to tell
that the Native American did have a society.
