24th IATA PASSENGER SERVICES CONFERENCE (PSC)

‘Attached are the finally adopted Resolutions and Recommended Practices from the above
‘mentioned Conference. The fling period for these Resolutions and Recommended Practices is
established as 20 December 2002 to 24 February 2003.
‘To ensure timely approval, Members are requested to file these agreements, where required, wth
their Governments upon receipt ofthis document, and to advise this office (teletype: GVAZZXB oF
e-mail feldmanm @iata.org) of their Government's ation by the end ofthe fling period (24
February 2003).
‘The intended effective date of these Resolutions and Recommended Practices is | June 2003,
Filing formalities with the United States Department of Transportation (DoT) on behalf of IATA,
‘Members will be accomplished by the Director, Washington Office. Please note that Resolutions
and Recommended Practices 720b, 721, 7222, 740, 1008, 1707a, 1707, 1708, 1711, 1715, 1714
1718, 1719a and 1743 ae submitted for information ony; they are in the category of select
‘passenger sevice standards the DoT has determined need not be submitted for review and approval
{U008, 1708, 1716 and 1745 are inthe “third tranche” list)
Filing formaites with the Canadian Transportation Agency on behalf of Canadian Members will be
accomplished by this office“Members are reminded that these Resolutions and Recommended Practices will be declared
effective upon receipt ofall Government approvals which are required in accordance with
Resolutions 001 and 06.
“The Minutes are issued separately under Memorandum PSCIMINS/00$ dated 6 December 2002.
“Members will note that a “summary of changes” document has been added to this Memorandum to
highlight the main points of interest as well as detailing the major changes to each standad.
‘The expedited Resolutions were circulated under cover of Memorandum PSC/RESO/! 6 dated 11
November 2002. '
