Backup SAP Production servers:

1. Daily backup
o Full backup of the SAP system files is being performed every
evening.
o Full backup of the SAP/Oracle database/SQL database will be
taken online, including Archive mode (transactions log).
o This backup saved for a month.
2. Weekly backup
o Every week system files and SAP database is backuped offline,
while the SAP system is offline, in order to ensure data integrity.
o This backup saved for two months.
3. Monthly backup
o Once a month, system files and SAP database is backuped offline,
while the SAP system is offline, in order to ensure data integrity.
o This backup saved for a year.

Additional backups:

 System areas will be backed-up by the system administrator of the server

after new installation or update of the system.
 Backup of server for students registering via the Internet, executed by the
operators, according to instructions given by the Administrative
Information Systems Division.
 Each day, additional copy of the SAP database is performed over the
central storage (to BCV area).
