Subject to your convenience, I would very much like to have
dunch with you end Messrs. Hill and Knowlton in the not too distent
future, to go over meny matters of mutual interest. My calender for
next week indicates thet Wednesday, the 13th, and imibapy—breS90Ey
beth are free. I vill tentatively hold them open until I hear from you.
In the meanwhile would you give some consideration to our
future ads, if any, having the Spencerien flourish of the presidents of
the respective entities signing the advertisement in lieu of the printed
nene. I believe it looks more effective.
When, as and if your committee decides on an outstanding
individual to heed the research, it is my considered opinion thet all
things being equal, probably a top-flight name outside of New York would
be more efficacious than anyone from the metropoliten area. There is a
naturel nation#l suspicion of anyone coming from this area being a City
slicker, and particulerly with most of the big companies having their
main offices in tais area, I think such e divorcenent geographically,
from @ public relations standpoint, is worth considering. Should the
head men at Bethesda be available, in my humble opinion he would be a
natural from meny espects, which I will discuss with you firsthand.
Happy new year to you and yours. I hope your bride is on
the mend.
As ever,
