Annual Pledge Drive

KENTWOOD ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

Kentwood Elementary needs your fi-
nancial help to bridge the gap between the
shrinking LAUSD budget and our grow-
ing programs. The Annual Pledge Drive is
our biggest fundraiser of the year. It will
ensure that we can continue all of our
current programs. Your support will help
fund our library, computer lab, orchestra,
music/arts programs, classroom supplies,
field trips, assemblies, yard supervision, and
Astro Camp. We believe these programs,
along with great teaching, has helped push
our API scores to the highest in the LMU
Family of Schools!
Our goal is to raise $300 per student,
but any amount you can give is gratefully
accepted and your generosity WILL make
a difference at our school. We understand
not all families will be able to contribute
the same amount. Any and every contribu-
tion is greatly appreciated. We need 100%
participation from all of our Kentwood
families!
We will be tracking our progress through
our monthly newsletter and morning as-
semblies. Each student whose parent is a
2010-2011 PTO member (minimum $25
pledge) will be entered in a drawing for an
iTouch!
Don’t forget your company’s matching
program. Many companies will match your
contribution dollar for dollar. Thank you
