Working hours ‘The Company has introduced a system of flexible working hous to allow employees a degree of flexibility in etexmining their working hours to fit around personal commitments and to allow the Company to absorb the peaks and troughs in workload around these flexible hours. This will ensure that employees’ needs and Dsiness demands are reconciled as far as possible, Time taken for credit hours has to be agreed by your ssanagen ‘Tae Company will normally operate seven days 2 week. The Company reserves the right to alter the working arrangements for employees. The Company policy is to publish any working pattems 4 weeks in advance, however, shorter notice period can be possible subject to business demands. The standard working week for fall time employees is 40 hours (8 hours per day). For the purposes of administeing the flexible hours scheme cach employee wll have targeted annual working hours |All employees are required to take at last one break of 30 minutes that is unpaid during their working shift if their shift exceeds 6 hours. Employees under the age of 18 ate entitled to have 2 30 minute break within the shift if their work shift exceeds 44 hours Breaks rust be taken away from your workstation in the designated break room. Employees need to lsise with ther ine munager to arrange when theic break times will be taken ‘within the department and should clock out on the Interflex system, Generally, employees ace permitted, with psioe agreement from their line manager, o build up czedit hours dasing each monthly period (a line with a defined benchmark set for rotal hours). Similarly, if employees work less than the expected 40 hous per week throughout the month they wil eazy debit houes over to the next ‘month. Credit/Debit hours have no effect the monthly salary. If you are unable to clock in or out for any reason you should Complete a manval time sheet which should be passed to your supervisor for authorisation. Misuse ofthe time ‘management system can result in disciplinary action, It is a disciplinary offence to clock anyone other than yourtelfin ot out Jn cases ofall day absence from work, eg. authorised busines trips or conferences, the start and finish times of the working day must be tracked and a time sip forwarded to the respective manager at the easiest ‘opportunity, Please note that for business tips et. a maximum of 10 hours per day are credited to your time In eases of sickness, the time (or number of days) must be tacked in a similar fashion and a standard self- certification form forwarded to your manager at the earliest opportunity In cases of holiday, a time slip must be forwarded to your manager eight weeks in advance. Your manager _must agree this before commencement of holiday. Tf managess foresee that a department wil not be fully used it is within ther discretion to send employees home. This will be treated as a debit in their ime bank.
