RESUMEN

El presente estudio se realizó con el objetivo de saber si los vecinos de los distritos
de San Martín de Porres y Los Olivos tienen conocimiento sobre Bienestar Animal y
si estarían de acuerdo con la creación de un Centro de Rescate Canino en sus
respectivos distritos. La investigación se llevó a cabo durante los meses de abril a
junio del 2009 mediante una encuesta realizada a 100 personas por distrito elegidas
al azar, donde se pudo conocer que un 64% de encuestados en el distrito de San
Martín de Porres y un 67% de encuestados en el distrito de Los Olivos afirmo tener
conocimiento sobre el concepto de Bienestar Animal además un 94% de
encuestados en el distrito de San Martín de Porres y un 80% de encuestados en el
distrito de Los Olivos 87% estaría de acuerdo con la creación de un Centro de
Rescate Canino.

ABSTRACT

This study was realized with the aim of knowing if the neighboring district of San Martin
de Porres and Los Olivos are knowledgeable about animal welfare and if they would
agree to creating a Rescue Dog Center in their respective districts. The research was
realized during April to June 2009 by a survey of 100 people selected district, where it
was known that 64% of respondents in the district of San Martin de Porres and 67% of
respondents in the district of Los Olivos they are aware of the concept of animal welfare
in addition 94% of respondents in the district of Saint Martin de Porres and 80% of
respondents in the district of Los Olivos 87% would agree with creating a Rescue Dog
Center.
