Seamus’ Achievement

Certificate
In spite of being new to Spanish this term, Seamus,
managed well to learn some words/phrases. He was very
shy initially but listened carefully when I spoke to him. He
responded to his name and basic greetings. Hola (hi) was
spelled digitally by himself. Seamus acquired good
pronunciation.

Playing in the garden, we counted seashells and cockles

together; he followed the count 1-10 later on, he listened
to the count again and was able to place a couple of
numbers correctly on the outdoor bingo’s mat.
Demonstrating true learning!
Seamus played with cars repeating after me;
juego con el coche gris (I play with the gray car).  

Alex V’s Achievement

Certificate
Outstanding progress, awarded 2 ** red stars. Alex’s numerical; logic and pattern
skills are impressive. He has passed his knowledge to others by helping them
count 1-10 in Spanish without my help. At the bingo session, he was keen to learn
all the numbers up to 50.
Responds and spells his name, greetings and farewells. New words and phrases
learnt, “me gusta patina en el hielo” – “I like skating on ice”. Found shells and
cockles in the gardens and identified them with the names, “conchas y
caracoles”.
Played with his favourite cars and described them with the right colour, “Juego
con el coche rojo”.
He joined the music and dancing session, singing to the nursery rhymes and the
Spanish alphabet. He coloured the clown with his favourite colours recognising,
“rojo, blanco, verde” and made a rice pattern with it.
He participated in a birthday party and said “feliz cumpleaños” and enjoyed a
piece of chocolate cake “tarta de chocolate” and then said “gracias”
Well done Alex !
