QA-ST quick start

QA-ST Startup QA-ST Testing

1. Plug QA-ST unit into mains power 1.Select the test to perform and press the
supply. (Mains power is required to corresponding key on the front of the QA-

3. Connect the Kelvin Test Lead from the
Enclosure port on the QA-ST to an earth
connection on the DUT.
4. Connect any patient leads from the DUT
to the QA-ST Patient Leads inputs
starting with port 1, then port 2 and so
forth.

NOTE
Snap-to-banana adapters are supplied with the QA-
ST, allowing the simple connection of ECG electrode
snaps or pins to the patient lead inputs.

3. Tests may be performed with Open

Ground and Reverse Supply using the keys
located below the power socket on the
front of the unit.

4. When testing patient leads, a binary

code is used to identify the lead being
tested. Continue to press the key for the
desired test until the proper lead is
designated.
CAUTION
During the lead ISOlation test, high voltage is LEAD NUMBER DISPLAY X=ON O=OFF
present at the patient lead connections. Caution 1 OOOX
must be taken to avoid contact with the patient lead 2 OOXO
inputs and conductive applied parts during this test.
