 UNIMATCH ANTENNAS

1. For optimum results use six wire sloping dipole as per instruction.
2. Mount antenna as far away as possible from other antennas or metal objects.
3. To ensure optimum high angle night time use and lower angle day time use, ensure that the antenna
wires are angled not less than 50º from the vertical mount mast. (The flatter the angle the better)
4. To extend the antenna wires use a non-rot, non-stretch rope e.g. Terylene.
5. The Unimatch antenna must be connected to the transmitter using 50 Ohm coaxial cable e.g. RG213 or
RG58.
6. No earth is required, but if a metal mast is used this should be earthed for safety.
7. No antenna tuner is required due to the broad characteristics of the antenna.
8. The coaxial feed line should be taken directly to the 50 Ohm connector on the radio.

NB: This antenna provides excellent transmission capabilities over the range 1.5 to 30 MHz. but for
receiving purposes only covers from 50KHz. to 180 MHz.
