Product Description
Coiler's Operation and Maintenance Center (OMC) is
a software application that enables remote or local
monitoring and management of Coiler’s repeater
equipment on a network.

The Coiler OMC system reduces the need for on-site

visits, providing RF technicians with powerful remote
co n f i g u rat i o n a n d a l a r m re p o r t i n g to o l s.
Management functions enable remote control of the
repeater's parameters, including gain, output power
and AGC functionality.

Communication between the OMC and the repeater

network is ensured via a short messaging system
Coiler Operation and Maintenance Center

through a wireless modem, or locally through an

RS-232 cable. An alarm message is generated if a fault
has occurred in any of the repeaters.

The message is sent to the OMC Center, as well as to

the technician responsible for the specific site. Thus,
reducing repeater downtime will maintain customer
satisfaction as problems will be able to be solved
quickly.

Coiler’s OMC software is compatible with Microsoft

Windows 2000 or later, and offers a user-friendly
interface.
