Main Points
• At the begining of the century XX, the blacks were
marginated by the white society.
• After the second world war, the whites could not marry the
blacks, and they neither could live to the same area.
• There were many protests, since there they were not happy
with what happened.
• Nelson Mandela was sent to prison since there was not
agreement about the human rights that the blacks had.
• When he went out of the prison, in 1994, Mandela won the
first democratic elections of the history of South Africa.
