Yearly increment.
Component for additional division / course.
Journals and Books shall also include subjects of
Science & Humanities.
Digital Library facility with multimedia facility is
essential.
Reprographic facility in the library is essential.
Document scanning facility in the library is essential.
Document printing facility in the library is essential.
Library books/non books classification as per standard
classification methods is essential. (Dewey Decimal
Classification)
Availability of NPTEL facility at the library is essential.

Check list for Library

Library rules and procedure :
1. Opening & Closing time,
2. Staffing, need from library monitors.
3. Decide on the method of lending books and how to classify
information books. (Scheme of classification)
4. Prepare the library room, make the bookshelves and organise
equipment and stationery.
5. Check that the library is secure
6. Library stock and parts of a book.
7. Make an accession register, lending method, a return date
label into all books (Circulation system)
8. Divide information books into subject areas according to your
chosen method of classification.
9. Library catalogues. This will include a shelf list and title
catalogue.(Card/ICT)
10. Information books are arranged by subject.
11. Subject index and posters on the walls to make the library
more attractive and to remind students of any rules about
using or borrowing books.
12. Providing latest information (Notice Board) and new arrivals
13. Digital service & Reprography services
