Registration Details:
ID upload option: Candidates registering for an IELTS test session can directly upload
their ID document online. While uploading your ID document please ensure:
Ensure the scanned document is smaller than 1600 by 1600

pixels

File size should be 1.5MB or less

Only JPEG, GIF or PNG files are supported at the present.
Only a Valid Original Passport is accepted. If you do not have your original valid
passport on the day of the test, you will not be allowed to take the test and will
not be eligible for a refund
Payment:
Online
You can now register easily and make Online Payments using your Visa, Visa
Electron or Mastercard credit cards. If you choose to pay online please make sure
your card is enabled for online payments and there are sufficient funds to cover the
transaction. You should contact your bank for confirmation of your verification code
before you begin. Also ensure you have your card details with you before starting the
registration, as you will not be able to go back and pay online for the same date.
Bank Transfer
Candidates can pay via bank transfer in any branch of Trade Bank of Iraq. There are
many branches of TBI all over Iraq.
Please mention the Online Registration System reference number, test date and
your name when you make the bank transaction.

Test Transfers and Refund

Test Transfers and Refunds will be processed only if:

A candidate has a medical emergency and provides a medical certificate
which is issued by a board/committee of Public Hospital doctors.
If the candidate cannot attend the test for security reasons (security road
blocks, fear of fake checks points and city access denial)
On compassionate grounds-Death of a family member.

This request must be submitted to the British Council Iraq Customer Services
within 5 days from the test date. A refund of USD $195 will be given after
deducting an administration fee. Refund payment will be processed by cheque.
If you have paid online by credit card, you will receive your refund after
approval to the same credit card that you registered with.
Special Needs

Candidates requiring special arrangements due to temporary, permanent or

long-term disability, such as hearing/sight impairment, dyslexia or speech
impediment; or short-term difficulties such as broken arm must give three
months notice to the British Council Examinations Services so that the
appropriate guidance and approval can be taken from Special Circumstance
unit at Cambridge ESOL.
