01. PROJECT SCOPE

1.1 The solution shall deliver necessary and sufficient hardware, software, and professional services
for the complete solution implementation integrating with the existing network within the agreed
project period
1.2 The solution shall accommodate the existing network capacity & architectural requirements while
ensuring required redundancy.
1.3 The solution shall deliver necessary long term support and maintenance for the implemented
solution.
1.4 The solution shall be extensible on to the commercial Wi-Fi network so that the customers enjoys
a better coverage both domestic and commercial areas.
1.5 Supplier shall implement the solution in turnkey basis.
1.6 Supplier shall implement the finalized proposal as contracted for the proposed project
deliverables.
1.7 The Supplier shall study the existing service delivery architecture and design the proposal
accordingly, which may cover under professional services of the project.
1.8 Supplier shall implement the entire solution while seamlessly integrating and interworking with
existing network elements without disturbing the prevailing services.
1.9 Supplier shall provide necessary and sufficient test equipment and any other resources required
for carrying out test procedures successfully at own cost without any additional cost to ZTEl.
1.10

The solution shall be plan and design in such a way that it shall not introduce any changes to

the exiting service architectures

1.11

All the equipment shall be installed in Indoor environment.

1.12

Following category of Implementation models are willing to serve from the Wi-Fi.

Category A: Small size (Single AP) Installation

Category B: Medium size (2-16 APs) Installation
Category C: Large size (17 above Aps) Installation
Category D: IBS size (1-10 above Aps) Installation

1.12.1 Category A: Small size Installation

Single Access Point (AP) installation scenario is categorized as Small size Installation and it shall
consists with relevant power arrangement, Installation & testing with material transportation
including all required materials supply except of Wi-Fi routers, Switches, Diplexers & Access Point
(AP)s. All required Wi-Fi routers, Switches, Diplexers & Access Point (AP)s will be given by ZTE and
the product brand will be Cisco.

Remark
Bidder shall collect the equipment from
warehouse. Customer will present for the
acceptance after installation, Commissioning and
integration of the equipment. After got the
acceptance from the customer bidder shall
submit an as built drawing for each and every
site.
Bidder shall supply and install relevant 13A plug
base with sunk box in accepted brand (All
accepted product details are attached). If the
Access Point (AP)s / Router power cord length is
not enough, shall be extended by 1.5mm2 two
core power cable. All the power cables shall be
separated with data cables and properly covered
with PVC conduit, casing & flexible.
Data cables shall be laid securely. Shall be laid
through PVC conduit/casing, PVC flexible. All the
covering materials shall be fixed properly with
self-tapping screws.

1.12.2 Category B: Medium size Installation

Access Point (AP) installation is not limited to one number and not exceeding Sixteen numbers, such
scenario is categorized as Medium size Installation and it shall consists with relevant power
arrangement, Installation & testing with material transportation including all required materials
supply except of Wi-Fi routers, Switches, Diplexers & Access Point (AP)s. All required Wi-Fi routers,
Switches, Diplexers & Access Point (AP)s will be given by ZTE and the product brand will be Cisco.
Bidder shall perform the Technical site survey (Referred as TSS hereafter) and shall be submitted
the Technical Site Survey Report (Referred as TSSR hereafter) with relevant drawings and designs.

Switches, Diplexers & Access Point (AP)s will be given by ZTE and the product brand will be Cisco.
Bidder shall perform the TSS and shall be submitted the TSSR with relevant drawings and designs.

(AP)s. All required Wi-Fi routers, Switches, Diplexers & Access Point (AP)s will be given by ZTE and
the product brand will be Cisco. Bidder shall perform the TSS and shall be submitted the TSSR with

03. COVERING AND SEALING

3.1 All the cable paths, both power and data should be properly covered and
sealed with PVC (Water Pipes) and PVC fittings.
3.2 PVC flexible shall be used for the bends and other relevant places to lay
the cables.
3.3 Bonding tapes and insulation tapes (3M Type) shall be used to cover all
the joints and connectors.
3.4 Bidder shall cover the cable path and keep them on the ceiling or inside
the ducts and should not be visible to consumers.
3.5 All the cable paths should be tight properly with self-tapping screws and
should be rigidly fixed.
3.6 Any special situation bidder shall supply and install GI pipes and GI
flexible to cover the Optical fiber cables (Only if cable lay in outdoor
premises) and can be claimed under AWR category.
3.7 Any special situation if the customer requested to cover the cable path
lay along the outdoor walls should supply and install Amano ducts and
can be claimed under AWR category.

04. EARTHING

4.1 Bidder shall earth the installed router or switch to the nearest ECB by
using 25mm2 copper green cable.
4.2 Bidder shall earth the laid GI pipes to the common earth ring (Only if
available) by using 25mm2 copper green cable.
4.3 Bidder shall properly interconnect GI pipes with 25mm2 copper yellow
green cable.
4.4 Customer will arrange to complete the earthing of outdoor GI pipes
(Only if not available a common earthing system) and it shall be
completed together with the Wi-Fi site installation without any interrupt
to the site implementation, integration and commission.

05. POWER SUPPLY TO SWITH, ROUTER OR ACCESS POINT

5.1 Bidder shall supply and install 13A square type plug base with sunk box
to get the AC power for installed switches, routers or installed access
points.
5.2 If the Access Point (AP)s / Router power cord length is not enough,
bidder shall extend the power cable of the equipment by 1.5mm2 two
core power cable.
5.3 All the power cables should be separated with data cables and properly
covered with PVC conduit, casing & flexible and shall be fixed rigidly.
06. SERVICE TEST PROCEDURE

6.1 Bidder shall complete the walk test after commission the Wi-Fi network
and shall be submitted a document to the customer
6.2 Bidder shall be able to test and confirm the working condition of all
installed equipment and mentioned coverage in the approved design
drawing in the TSSR.
6.3 Bidder shall be able to test and identify any coverage issue and submit a
report to customer.
6.4 Bidder shall be able to enhance the coverage area of the Wi-Fi network
with new design in addition to first installation and that shall be claimed

under AWR. The design document shall be given by the customer.

07. ACCEPTANCE TEST PROCEDURE

7.1 Bidder shall be completed the Pre-PAT once installation completed and
after the Pre-PAT bidder shall be able to integrate and commission the
Wi-Fi network.
7.2 Customer shall be presented for the acceptance test once after
commissioned the Wi-Fi network and it will be followed the accepted
document format attached in Annex 01.
7.3 Once customer confirmed the Acceptance document, bidder should
submit the As Built Drawing (Referred as ABD hereafter) and it will be
followed the document format attached in Annex 02.

08. TERMS AND CONDITIONS

8.1 Bidder

can apply an additional work request for each and every

additional quantity of materials beyond the defined work package
8.2 AWR should be identified during the TSS and must get the prior approval
from the customer before attend to work
8.3 Bidder Shall be taken the confirmation for each and every AWR work
done from the Customer by the time of acceptance test
