JDM Log Retrieval

Each of the JDM Tomcat components provide log reporting functionality which details events that occur within the JDM application andare

routinely copied to the JDM Log Shipping server (denjdmtt1).The log information isoften used to isolate and troubleshoot issues that occurwith
the JDM application at any given time. If the JDM application experiences an outage the JDM Log Shipping Server shouldbe used asthestorage
locationfor any T3 requestedlogs during or after an outage. The Tier 3 JDM team will access the JDM Log Shipping Server to access the logs.
To obtain copies of requested logs filesinstructed by Tier III and download locally:
1. Create an SFTP connection to the appropriate JDM server to retrieve the specifiedlog files. For log locations see JDM Log Locations on
this page JDM Pro Troubleshooting.
2. Copy the log file(s) locally in preparation to copy itto the JDM Log Shipping Server.
3. Create an SFTP connection to the JDM Log Shipping Server denjdmtt1. Obtain the username and password information from the Passwo
rd Manager. Once logged in,transferthe log file(s)from step 2to the followingdirectory /apps/prodlogs/OUTAGE_LOGS/YYYY-MM-DD
where YYYY-MM-DD is the outage date.
