Main Controls and Functions

Powering the car kit

The Cellmate RVM100 is powered by a re-chargeable, replaceable Li-ion battery. Optimum performance is achieved after two or three complete charge and discharge cycles. A rechargeable Li-ion
battery can be charged and discharged hundreds of times before it will wear out. When the operating time is noticeably shorter than normal, it is time to buy a new battery.
In normal recharging mode, route the power cable from the vehicle's power port to the car kit making sure the cable does not interfere with safe operation of the vehicle, or cause any risk to the
vehicle's passengers.
Connecting the recharge cable
Insert the small round plug of the DC adaptor into the jack on left underside of car kit marked DC
IN. Insert the USB end into the DC adaptor and plug into the vehicle's 12V DC power port. Route
the cable safely.
Solar Recharging
This unit can also be recharged using a solar accessory, in the usb inlet on top of the mirror.
A red LED will light in the multi-function button when the battery is low. The red Led will disappear
when charged. LO appears on the LCM display when battery needs recharging.
Turn On the car kit by sliding the on/off switch to the left. The device will light up the caller ID display and you will hear a start up tone with the multi-function button turning blue.
