Youngerhouseholdhasalreadyputmoneytothehouse,butnowarebeingforcedtorelocate
sothattherewillbenoblackfamiliesmovingintotheneighborhood.

CPNAbelievethatalotoftheneighborhoodproblemscomesfromtheBlackneighborhoods
andsotheywantthebestforthesafetyoftheneighborhood.Alsoifablackfamilycomesinthe
blackfamilymightbesabotageortreatedunfairlyduetothecoloriftheirskin,sotheCPNAjust
wantstoprotecttheYoungerfamily.KarllinderalsostateshowtheClybournePark
neighborhoodisfilledwithhardworkingclassmenandclasswomanthattheybelievethatthere
neighborhoodshouldonlyconsistsofthesamepeoplewithsimilarbackgroundsasitwouldbe
moreneighborhoodfriendlyandcomfortableforthelivingconditionsofthefamiliesthatlive
aroundthatneighborhood.NowMembersofthejuryhowissomeonegoingtotakesomeone's
housefromthemduetotheirownskincolor.Asyouhaveseenthebackgroundofeachofthe
Youngersfamilytherehasbeennocriminalintentoractivityintheirresume.Thushowcan
someonepredictthatanyblackfamiliesthatmoveintoaneighborhoodwillautomaticallymake
itworse.Itisperceptionofthepeopleduetothesocialnorms,iswhypeopledonotwantblack

familiesmovingintotheirarea.AlsotheYoungestfamilyisfilledwithhardworkingpeoplewould
theynothavethesamebackgroundastheotherfamiliesintheClybournearea.
MembersoftheJurynotonlyhastheCPNAandKarlLinderviolatedthe14th
amendmentbutthathaveviolatedthehumanrightsoftheYoungersfamilyandforthemtolive
acomfortablelife.NowmemberofthejuryIwouldlikeyoutothinkagainifyouwereinthis
