Opening statement- Lay infant on tummy and tell them about the ocean
Middle of Activity
Your ideas for scaffolding children at different developmental levels
Early: Let the infant explore the sensory bad while lying on their tummy

Middle: Let the infant grab and explore with their hands and mouth

Later: Let the infant poke grab and explore with their hands mouth and feet, let them
throw and pat the sensory bag

End of Activity- Read the book The Deep Red Sea
