A. Hook: In 2012, Korean progamer Lee, who was 16 years old, threw up the game saying
Oh, it is shutdown-time. Many fans were watching this game on an online streaming
video from the world, as well as they wondered what shutdown-time is and why he should
give up the game.
B. Connecting information: Shutdown-time is the law that an adolescent under age 16
cannot play a game after 12 at night, in the name of protecting teenagers from harmful
influence of a game. Because this special law exists in only China, Thailand and Korea,
so there has been a clash of views, since shutdown-time law was passed.
C. Thesis statement: Some people who think gaming is bad for teenagers, however, gaming
is not harmful for teenagers.
