TRAVEL AGENT RELEASE

POLITIAL UNREST IN BANGKOK – WAIVER AUTHORITY

In view of the current political unrest in Bangkok, with immediate effect Malaysia
Airlines will give waival authority for passengers travelling to Bangkok as follows:

1. Passengers may change their travel dates to no later than 30 June 2010.
Amended bookings must be made by 21 May 2010.

2. In the event that the original ticketed RBD is not available, agents are able to
offer the next higher RBD, with the fare difference to be collected from
passengers.

3. Passengers who are booked and ticketed to Bangkok may reroute with the same
RBD to any other destinations in ASEAN by paying USD50 per sector. In the
event the same RBD is not available, passengers can be booked on the next RBD
with the fare difference to be collected from passengers.

Passengers holding a non-refundable special fare ticket with restrictions on


travel date may change their travel date free of charge for the first change. Second or
subsequent date change will incur a fee of USD20. Refunds not allowed.

Passengers holding a normal/special fare ticket with no restrictions on travel


date may change their travel date free of charge. Refund will be subject to ticket terms
and conditions.
