For more than 60 years, Tyson Foods has been working towards utilizing
every portion of the chicken. After the chicken is processed for the
consumer markets, protein-rich ingredients are made for animal food
manufacturers, supplement manufacturers, and the biodiesel industry.
On average, 28% of the live weight of a chicken is used to make animal
edible ingredients. What began as a task to eliminate waste into landfills

Our meals are a sustainable resource for nutrient-rich proteins that

Chicken meal is made from premium parts. Chicken by product
meals offer a variety of options to meet the needs of different animal
protein requirements. Our low ash chicken by product meal is a
good ingredient for species that requires less ash content for their

Feather meal is a low ash, keratin-based protein ingredient

that is hydrolyzed to improve its digestibility. Its an excellent
bypass protein in ruminant diets and can be used to boost

Nutraceuticals provide additional nutritive benefits when added to

your formulations. Our dried chicken cartilage mix is an excellent
source for healthy joint maintenance. Our mix is a natural source of
collagen and glycosaminoglycans, including chondroitin sulfate and
amino sugars such as glucosamine and galactosamine.
