Chockfast Red

Chockfast Red Advantages

Multi-purpose, high strength, deep-pour

epoxy grout for fast, permanent
alignment of reciprocating and rotating
equipment; also used as a polymer
concrete for fast reconstruction of worn
or damaged foundations. Chockfast
Red provides excellent vibration
damping for static and dynamic loads,
while its gentle exothermic cure allows
for single pours from 2" to 18.

CHOCKFAST RED is a user-friendly, chemically resistant, low dusting epoxy grout with
high compressive, tensile and shear strengths. Excellent compatibility with concrete and
steel minimizes or eliminates horizontal bond-line cracks, common to traditional epoxy
grouts. This 24-hr cure structural epoxy is formulated to provide excellent vibration
damping for static and dynamic loads plus permanent monolithic support with intimate
contact between equipment bedplates and underlying concrete foundations. A gentle
exothermic reaction during cure reduces cast-in stresses and allows single pours up to
18. (For single pours deeper then 18, contact a CHOCKFAST Representative.) Deep
pours expedite installation of new equipment. They also reduce costly downtime for
foundation repairs. Low dusting formulation simplifies installation and cleanup
procedures. Tools and mortar mixers can be cleaned with water.

Turbo generator: Installed on thick-pour Chockfast

Red and oil-resistant Chockfast Blue

Chockfast Red SG

High flow, rapid cure, high strength

epoxy grout for thinner pours (1 1/2 4) under equipment skids and
bedplates. Chockfast Red SG works
well in cooler temperatures.

PRODUCT APPLICATION AND INSTALLATION GUIDES

Chockfast Blue
High chemical and temperatureresistant, high flow epoxy grout for new
or retrofit installations in caustic
environments. Chockfast Blue can
also be used as a substitute for steel
soleplates or rails; normally used in a
thickness range of 1-1 1/2.

Chockfast Blue Advantages

CHOCKFAST BLUE is a pourable epoxy compound with excellent resistance to high

operating temperatures. Developed especially for use under hot-running reciprocating
machinery, it provides a strong cap and an excellent oil seal on new foundations.
CHOCKFAST BLUE eliminates the need for steel soleplates, which often cause
subsequent cracks in foundations. It also strengthens and seals older foundations, while
restoring their original heights.

Chockfast Orange

Chockfast Orange Advantages

Conveniently pourable, two-component,

structural epoxy chock that replaces
tediously fitted steel shims (or steel
chocks) assuring intimate contact with
machined or un-machined equipment
bedplates. Virtually 100% effective
bearing underneath supported
equipment.

CHOCKFAST ORANGE is a specially formulated for use as a chocking or grouting

material. CHOCKFAST ORANGE is designed to withstand severe marine and
industrial environments involving a high degree of both physical and thermal shock. The
compound is non shrinking and has very high impact and compressive strength. Years of
successful in-service experience have shown the use of CHOCKFAST ORANGE to be
a far superior yet less expensive method of establishing and permanently retaining
precise equipment alignment under extreme conditions. CHOCKFAST ORANGE is
approved or accepted for its intended marine use by American Bureau of Shipping,
Lloyds Register, Bureau Veritas, Det Norske Veritas, Germanischer Lloyd and most
other major regulatory agencies worldwide.

Chockfast Black

Chockfast Black Advantages

Pourable, two-component, deep-pour

structural epoxy chock used to support
and maintain permanent frame
alignment under hot-running machinery;
allows free flow of air between
equipment and foundation to lower
foundation temperatures and minimize
upward thermal growth; virtually 100%
effective bearing underneath supported
equipment; normally poured in
thickness of 1 1/4-2 1/2.

CHOCKFAST BLACK is a cost effective method of maintaining permanent precise

alignment of critical equipment. It will withstand severe environments involving high
physical and thermal shock. CHOCKFAST is ideal for use under hot running
reciprocating and rotating machinery due to its excellent resistance to creep and fatigue
at high operating temperatures. It is non shrinking and has a very high impact and
compressive strength. Since these resin chocks (1) minimize heat build-up on
foundations, (2) assure precise and unsurpassed contact with bedplates, and (3) provide
a high coefficient of friction to help hold engines down tight...they reduce possible
bearing or crankshaft damage.

Chockfast Gray

Chockfast Gray Advantages

Highly flowable, two-component, thin

pour chock designed to maintain
proper alignment and support of
machinery and equipment; able to
withstand severe industrial
environments with a high degree of both
physical and thermal shock resistance.

CHOCKFAST Gray was developed as a chocking or grouting compound for use under
marine deck machinery, pumps, generators and steering gears. Industrially, the
compound is used under diesel engines, generators, compressors, pumps, turbines,
bearing blocks, crane rails and numerous other applications. CHOCKFAST Gray
requires no special tools or special skills as does chocking with steel. When cast,
CHOCKFAST Gray flows readily into chock area filling all voids and conforming to all
irregularities. This eliminates the machining of base plates or foundations for a perfectly
fitted chock.
