PRELIMINARY
A. Background
This article tells about a technology that may already be familiar to everyone because this
technology is growing in line with the changing times.
In fact, its use is not too difficult to use, but it would be better if we know and understand the
origin of the emergence of this phone DEVICES, and also a drawbacks.
In this paper has described the development of technologies that underlie the creation of the
mobile device Mobile, and various materials were short but rich in information that will be
better when it is read by the reader. Had this article can be certain additives to give readers
insight

CHAPTER II
DISCUSSION

A. Understanding Cell Phones

Mobile phones has the same basic ability with conventional channels telephone, but can
be brought anywhere (portable, mobile) and does not need connected with the telephone
network that using a cable (wireless; wireless). Now, Indonesia has two wireless telephone
network are the GSM system (Global System for Mobile Telecommunications) system and
CDMA (Code Division Multiple Access).
The goverment bodies of the Indonesian cellular telecommunications is the Indonesian
Cellular Telecommunications Association (ATSI).

B. History of the emergence of HP

We all know who the founder of the telephone lines, he is a famous figure, Alexander
Graham Bell, that may because since elementary school or junior high school we've all
learned or introduced by our teachers about a discovery and scientists who find it. But who
founder of the hand phone or mobile phone?
1910 is the beginning of a cell phone found by the Lars Magnus Ericsson (Sweden),
founder of the company Ericsson that now most populer by the company Sony Ericsson.
In 1960, in finlandia a company named Fennis Cable Works that beginning to do
business field of cable, do ekspensi with founding an electronics company named Nokia as a
mobile phone handset.
After 1970, the mobile telecommunications more the people talk about it. Three years
later, Motorola introduced a mobile phone. Its size is big enough with the short antenna. Dr
Cooper is the manager of Motorola's innovation project put a base station in finlandia New
York. For this project, Motorola worked with the Bell Labs. This discovery claimed as the
invention of the first mobile phone

The HandPhone technology was first introduced on April 3, 1973. The business
community Telephone remember it as the day of birth. at that Moment for the first time longdistance calls with mobile phone portable devices do. The first to try was Martin Cooper. The
HP idea came from Cooper that dreamed of making a flexible communication tool. He wants
to get out of the limitations of fixed telephone (landline). The HP Mr. Cooper has a weight 1
kg with a height of 33 cm. As a new technology, The HP is not directly to sold it to the
public. Need time until 10 years to available telephone service move.

Precisely in 1983, when Motorola introduced the DynaTAC 8000X. This is HP's first
get permission from the (Federal Communications Commission) FCC and can be used for
commercial purposes. HP is available in the market in April 1983. Weighing approximately
16 ounces or 1/5 kg. Sold at a price of 3,500 US dollars or approximately Rp30 million.

C. Development of Mobile Phones

Generation I
The first generation of mobile phones is also called 1G. 1-G is the first real mobile
phone. In 1973, Martin Cooper of Motorola Corp. found a mobile phone first and was
introduced to the public on April 3, 1973. The cell phone were found by Cooper weighs 30
ounces or about 800 grams. This invention that has changed the world forever. The
technology used is 1-G still analog and known as AMPS. AMPS uses frequencies between
825 MHz and 894 Mhz- operated at 800 MHz Band. Because it is analog, then the system
used is still regional. One drawback generation 1-G is because the size is too large to be held
by hand. The large size is due to the purposes of power and poor battery performance.
Besides the generation 1-G still has problems with mobility users. When placing a call, the
user mobility is limited to coverage area of mobile phones.

Generation II
The second generation or 2-G appeared in about the 1990s. 2G in America are already
using CDMA technology, whereas in Europe Operates on GSM networks use a standard
frequency of 900 Mhz and 1800 Mhz frequency. With these frequencies, GSM has a larger
subscriber capacity. In the generation 2G analog signal has been replaced with a digital
signal.
The use of digital signal equip mobile phones with voice mail, call waiting, and SMS.
A cellular phone in this generation also has a smaller size and lighter due to the use of digital
chip technology. The smaller size also because of the need of smaller batteries. The
advantages of generation 2G is the size and weight of the smaller and have lower radio
signals, so it can mitigate the effects of radiation.
Generation III
Telecom mobile phone network has to provide use 3G services from 1999 to 2010. This
generation allows network operators to give their users a wider range, include Internet as well
as video calls. The downside of the the 3G generation is have cost that high, and the lack of
network coverage because's still new .
But the interesting thing in this generation is to begin the inclusion of the operating
system on mobile phones so make the phone more complete feature even approaching PC

functionality. The operating system used, among others, Symbian, Android and Windows
Mobile.

Generation IV
This generation is also called Fourth Generation (4G). 4G is a mobile system that
offers a new approach and infrastructure solutions that integrate wireless technologies that
exist, including wireless broadband (WiBro), 802.16e, CDMA, wireless LAN, Bluetooth, and
others. The system is based on the heterogeneity 4G IP network that allows users to use
multiple systems anytime and anywhere. 4G also gives its users high speed, high volume,
good quality, global reach, and flexibility to explore a variety of different technologies.
Lastly, 4G provides fast data delivery services to accommodate a variety of applications such
as multimedia, video conferencing, online gaming, and others.

D. Negative and Positive Impact Of Technology developments Hadphone

The negative impact of technological development hadphone include:
1. Reduce the social nature of humans because it tends to prefer to connect via the
Internet rather than meet in person (face to face).
2. From the nature of social change can lead to changes in the pattern of society
interact. Man has become lazy to socialize with friends and the surrounding environment.
With facilities owned by HP, then in the era of sophisticated and modern everything can be
done sitting in a place without leaving your seat and leave the person's activity. Starting from
filling pulse, transfer money, book tickets, shopping, to order food can be done without
leaving the place at all. It will be easier but people will not care about the social sense.

Mobile Positive Impact on Students:

1. As a means of distance communication, mobile phones are becoming the mainstay
of the students to interact with their friends. This could facilitate students to coordinate their
friends if you want to study groups or working on a common task.
2. Students are able to communicate with his friends to inquire material or homework
assignments without having to leave the house who can spend a lot of time.
3. Mobile can store data and easy to carry anywhere.
4. Mobile has entertainment features such as music (MP3) or games. This feature can
entertain students who may be tired while studying. Thus the brain of the student will come
back refreshed and able to accommodate the subject matter well.

CHAPTER III
COVER
A. Conclusion
Mobile is one of the technological developments. Phone function not only as a means
of regular communication, but people can also access the Internet, SMS, take pictures and
send data to each other. The impact of handpone perhaps we do not realize at all. In addition
to ease in communicating a positive impact that humans get, there are also negative impacts
that humans get as a result of using a cell phone or cell phone is.
Mobile at this time is not only used by adults only. Now the children were already
many who have mobile phones with sophisticated mobile phones that are not inferior to
adults. So that the impact occurs not only in adults but also in children.
B. Suggestions
Mobile technology does have a complete and sophisticated features but has a lot of
negative impact when the user continues to do even if the technology has advanced, the
greater the impact negativnya.
Example is if viewed in terms of social, will be very visible gap between children
from poor families are financially and is not in a community in the school. The use of cellular
phones also assessed indirectly may affect the social environment of children.
ownership of mobile phones by children related to psychological development,
especially in developing the ability of social interaction and communication and the desire to
be accepted in the interaction (popularity). Creativity, ego and environmental conditions
(whether friends have mobile phones) psychologically can lead a child to have a mobile
phone.
Therefore should we use teklnologi Mobile on age, time and specific conditions to be
able to feel the benefits and functions.
