Social Commentary Equal Pay

Equality is by definition the state of being equal, especially in

status, rights, and opportunities. Equality is one of the most infamous
subjects that were not discussed in the notorious Declaration of
Independence. Equality was not built into this nation or to form a broader
perspective Equality was not the foundation of any well formed national
territory. In fact the so called great United States of America were built on
Inequality and discrimination. This intolerance was not only for those of a
different color which is how discrimination is thought of now but hatred
towards people of different religions, ethnicities, languages and beliefs. These
old fashioned, outdated forms of thinking have been passed on from naive
generation to naive generation, without any question as to why we accept
the path of bigotry and injustice knowing that it's the easiest path to take is
one thing but knowing what's the right one is the hardest.
Living in our society to this day is a life changing scenario where men and
women, males and females of all races and ethnicities, of all religions and
beliefs, of all countries and territories are being discriminated globally
because of who they are. Is it wrong to judge someone? No, but is it wrong
to let that judgement adjust your opinion of that person, yes, especially
when your decisions and actions could have a life altering effect on
someone's future. One of the most underestimated arising issues across the
world that includes discrimination is Equal Pay.
Equal Pay does not exist yet currently because of a psychologically corrupt
government, but let's leave that for another conversation another day, and
allow me to enlighten you. Lets talk about how single mothers are learning
less than single fathers making it harder for single mothers to sustain a
quality environment for their children and themselves. Lets talk about how
women with a higher class of education are losing more income than their
male counterparts who have completed and gone through the same
education process and system. (According to CAPAF) Did you know a
women with a bachelor's degree can lose up to $730,000 in a span of 40
years, but let's shift focus of a women and on men.
Lets talk about how low wages for women as can affect the lives of their
husbands, Men in the United States work the longest hours in the

industrialized world this leaves men with the least amount of leisure time of
all members of a full family by spending more time making up for their wives
lower wages men are not able to sustain a close relationship with their
children perfectly fitting the stereotype of an unloving father who chooses
work over his children. Although I don't blame this dilemma on women
society for not accepting women's role in it and giving them an equal
opportunity such as the one given to men. Some might see this a ranting on
complaining about a world we can't change but the truth is we can change
it, we just have ask ourselves and others why do we accept things the way
they are.
