Full time jobs

When working in a job you would be ask to work a surton amount of time and if you
are going to be working a lot then you would be asked to work full time and this
would be your job this is what you would be doing most of the days in the week if not
all of them. If you where doing a job like a managemt job or something high up like
that other jobs that would be like that would be bankers and doctors they will be full
time works because they are high asking jobs they are the kind of jobs where it
would help to have a good skill set in them
Jobs that are full time normal pay a lot better then jobs that are part time the reason
for this is because they are normal more hours and better pay jobs if you where
working in a supermarket stacking shelves then you would be more like going to be
working a part time job but if you where a manager of a supermarket then you would
be more likely going to be working a full time job a 9 to 5 kind of job the reason why
they are a high dimmed kind of job and they are full time is because they are the
kink of jobs that take a lot of time to do they will often jake long then the hours you
are contracted to do

Part time jobs

Part time jobs are the less importet jobs they are jobs that dont take as much time to do
as a full time job and dont often pay as much as a full time job they are jobs like a
supermarket worker stacking shelfs or maybe working in a restaurant as a watter these
are the kind of jobs that are less likely to be payed better they would most likely to not be
on a short contract .
The reason they are not on as much as a full time job is because they are on much less
time then the full time job workers. You would normal see a lot of college students working
in a part time job the reason for this is because they need a job that pays alrighjrt and that
doesn't take that much time or effort so they are going to try and work something like in a
supermarket where they have to stack shelves for about 11 hours a week maybe 2 or 3
days a week or they might be a water that dose and sutron amount of hours a week the
better of the to jobs would be working in a supermarket the reason for this because in a
supermarket you are more likely going to be for a big chane of shops that spread over a
lot of the country and maybe the would but with a resteront they might just have one
branch in one part of one country so they are going to pay you less because they are
going to be making less then the other big brands out there so you wold be getting less

Freelance
If you are going to be working freelance you are going o be working for yourself and are
going to be making your own money with a skill you might have you would normal go out
somewhere and help someone with a task that might have or you could be helping multiple
people with some tasks. You might see this with the actress and maybe voice actress the
reason they are going to be free lance is because they dont work for a specific company or
an employer they might work for them for a few weeks or so but they wouldnt work for
them full time because they would want to move onto a new project so they dont want to
be tied down to doing one thing for there care thats why actors are all going to be
freelance because they like to do different things.
They would normal be working for them self's getting there own work them self's and going
out to find other company's to give them work if you are an actor the they might have an
agent that go and find there work for them

Shift Work
when you work shift work then you would work a sirton amount of time and will only be paid
for that time only they would normal work 9 to 5 they would normal rotat with other works.
The jobs that normal have shift work are jobs that are part time something like working in a
shop or the reason for this because if they worked a full time job then they would be on a fixed
time and would most likely be on a contratct so they wouldnt have to clock in

Most of the time shift work can span over any amount of time they might they could have day
shifts or they could have night shifts most of the time if you where to work a night shift then
you would get more pay then if you where to work a day shift you would get night pay which in
most cases is pay and a half so you would be working with more pay at night time
Some of the jobs that are in this are things like
Nurses
Shop workers
Waters
Cleansers

Permeant contract
When you are working a permeant contract you are work the time and the days it says on it they
give people a permeant contract because they want people they no that will be at the jobs for
along time if company's didnt give people permanent contracts then they could lose a lot of there
workers and wouldn't be at risk of being understated

A reason that it is good to be on a permanent contract you are on a fixed amount of money and
you would know how much you are going to be making and you dont need to worry and losing pay
if you leave early. When you are working one of theses conracts they are giving you a job to for fill
and then you will be doing that task for your time at the jobs.

Temporary contract
When you work a temporary contract you are you are only at that job for the amount
of time that is on the contract the and the time could even be as short as maybe
working for 1 day a week for a few hours or you could be working 5 days a week for a
few hours a week they can differ form bettewn the 2.
One of the big differs between temporary and permeant contract is that when your
tempory is over the impoler has got to diced wither you should stay on and renew your
contract or they should get rid of you at the end because they dont have to keep you
on at the end of it is up to who ever implode you.

Zero hour contract

A contract like this is one where you aren't expected to work a shorton amount of time you
havent got set roster and you haven't got to be working anything. You have know contract that
says you have to work that time but also with this the employer hasnt got to give you work they
havnt got to proved it to you at any time
The only time you would ever really need you to work would be when ever there's a job that only
you can really do or the company needs some help with something like there under staffed.

Multi Skilled worker

This is when you are skilled in more then one filed of work when you can forfil more then
job in the line of work that they are in you might see this when they are traid in more then
one role at there work spacse you can see this sometimes in super markets when you are
shown how to stack shaves and then also shown how to work the tiles theses are some
cases
This can help at your work because if there's many people working in the same things as
you and they need to let a few people go you can just move onto antother bit or work at
your job

Voluntary
This is when you are willing to do your willing to do work for free. You might see that a lot
of charity workers do work like this there is volatnyer work to do with house building
abround for poverty righton places this is the kind of work volanter workers do most of
the time it is just caraty work butr some times you can be an inturn which is another kind
of voantery work you arnt being paid for it.

Casual worker
A caual worker is somone who dosent have a set contract and who is made to come in all days
of the week the word caual worker is used to dicsrib some who doset do a permeant contract
they will help some on a flexible basis most of the time to fluctuating demand for the work there
doing they would come in if need and would come in if they are really needed so they would
work for a hole week most of the time

They get paid a higher pay rate per hour then they would if they worked full time the reason
they get this is because they dont get the benefits like if they where sick they wouldnt get sick
leave it means there not get paid if there sick and they also do get an annual leave 2 days
unpaid carer's leave and 2 days unpaid compassionate leave per occasion

Hourly paid worker

This is when you are being paid for the hours you do and how many you do you get paid
though that it is smaller to if you where doing a roter you would clock it and then you will be
paid every hour you are working there
If you where do be working 6 hours then you would be paid a sermon amount of pay for etch
hour and then you would normal be paid after 4 weeks you wouldnt be made to work the
same amount of hours every day you might do 8 hours one day and then 3 another you could
be doing that.

Piecework
This is when you are being paid for the amount of things that you make most
of the time they are being paid either minimum wage or jsu tabove for every
thing they make so if you whrer to make a producat and you made like 8
different things.
So if you are going to be making something for a comaly you would want to
make as many different thingas as you can
The problem with this when you make something like this is that people are
going to get tired and then they might not make as much.

Careers
This can help you with getting you a job if you go into a creera that you dont know and
dont do any rescue then its going to make the job a lot harder for the person to do it so
you want to be doing as much resuch as you possible as you can.
You can find a lot of help with this kind online and then you can go out and see all of the
different website that will give lots help with them as well with what to say and do as
well but you dont have to go onto the intentet to find them you can go to college and
find them there they will give you help with this kind of thing.

National press
This is when if you are reading the newspaper and in that the news paper it ahs a section on jobs
and then what jobs are going and it will be a full page on what the kind of jobs are that are going
and then from there you can find them and then apply from there
You can even go online and find them form there you go on the newspaper website and then find
them online then

Personal contact
This is when somone you know has a job and then they put you up for a job in that company
and then so they would then help you get the job because they might then say that you are
going tp be good at the job or if them self are really good at the job they might put you up for it
and the boss of the places might think that, that person is good at there job there friend also
might be good at there job.
Some of the problems might be that the persons who said that you are would be good for the
job they might not be very good at there job so they might think that you are going to be like
that so they wouldnt want to higher them or If they said you would be good and it turns out
that your not then you might cost the other perons there job because it would be classed as
there fault.
They are some of the problems that could come from it

Networking
Networking is when you meat people that can help you with the job that you are doing and
sometimes it helps people who are in a simmler kind of job to you they might have a job
opening up at where thy are that they think you would be well suited for so they would let
you know so you can go for it or they might even put you forward for the role and then put in
a good word for you.
This is better thrn doing it though the newspaper and online the reason for this is because
when you will see lots of different job and not all of them are going to be suited to you but in
this case you can get someone to tell you about a job that they know you would good at so it
makes it a lot easier to find one

Word of mouth
This one can be more helpful then the other for a number of reasons why bevuse when you are
looking in a newspaper there is a lot of different jobs that you can chose from so you would spend
along to looking though jobs that wont even help you but when you have got somone that can tell
you about the jobs that they are doing out there they can help you find some jobs
If somone is working in a job that is simler to a job your doing and then they tell you that it is a job
like it going where work that is a lot better beucse you have more time then a lot of other people do
to then go out and apply for it and then resuch it and it will help you alotin the long run

Internet
When you go onto the intent you can see lots of different websites that have all got lots of different
jobs on them and you can fins spsifc websites for spsifc job out there. This is a really good way of
finding a new job and a lot of people see them as an easier way of finding the job

You can go onto a newspaper website and they will all have the jobs that where in that newspaper in
them so you can also do it that way
You can also apply online for a job over the intnert and then you can go for an interview there are
many jobs nowadays that will only let you apply online and they will just though your cv away so the
best places to do it will be online
