The student has produced a satisfactory response to the brief. The poster uses some conventions e.g.t eh title
and artist prominent on the cover and tour dates in a plausable order. The storyboard shows good grasp of
meida terminology though the images lack detail.

Completed a storyboard, researched the green room,

font research, questionnaire. Student moved schools
during the film section though moved back before the
end of the course. The student found the green screen
and the credits which george edited in to the shot. The
student also added the heavy metal soundtrack from

Explanatory notes on marking (AO3, AO4)

The candidate has contributed minimally to the porduction due to absence, though the sounddtrack is
appropriate and lifts the tempo of the trailer as well as being appropriate fro the target audience. The Pre
production work shows some understanding of media concepts using camera shots accurately in the storyboard
for example though not enough research and planning was carried out. The evaluation is satisfactory and uses
some media terminology well such as the audience catagories.

Concluding comments
The candidate has demonstrated a good level of understanding on some of the concpeets in medioa studies.
Unfortunately the student was tajen out of school towards the end of the year which meant minimal input into the
3rd assignment. The pupil missed the filming of the product
