It is with much enthusiasm that I apply for the position of Teacher at Byron Community Primary School.

I am a dedicated teacher with expertise, energy, drive and commitment to teaching and learning. I will bring to
the role of classroom teacher passion, proven expertise in outstanding teaching and learning skills, particularly
in the areas of Science and Technology, Literacy, Numeracy, Creative Arts and Sport as well as an outstanding
capacity for working as a productive and supportive team member. I continually reflect and actively seek
improvement in my own teaching practices and professional knowledge. I aim to provide creative learning

opportunities that cater for 21 century learners. I see it crucial to develop mutually respectful relationships,
establish strong collegial partnerships and have a genuine passion for working cooperatively with others. I
have a genuine commitment to strengthen relationships between the school and the parent community by
utilising effective communication and collaborative skills regarding current initiatives and future directions. I
am a passionate primary school teacher who strives to enhance the self-esteem and self worth of my students.
Most importantly, I ensure that student outcomes are being achieved at the highest levels in a positive,
creative, caring and respectful environment.
