Proficiency: Fair
I am giving myself this grade as I now understand that I must always
research the medications that I will be administering to a patient or
client. I must know what the side effects are, the drug to drug
interactions, the therapeutic effects are. I am still going to need to use
my drug guide to research the medications that I am giving, as I do not
know this information on the common medication list that we made the
med cards on.

PRACTICE

During my current and future nursing practice I will always research the
drugs that I will be given. I will always make sure I have what the side
effects are, so I can describe them to the patient when needed. Also if
there is an adverse reaction happening I will recognize that it is
happening. I will also be able to answer questions that the client may
have regarding the medication.
