Operation
Low Visibility Procedure
Low visibility procedure will be in force when
- RVR is 600m or below with any transmissometer.
- cloud base height is 75m (250ft) or below according to the meteorological report.
Pilots will be informed when LVP is in force by ATC. Any notified or detected incidence that may affect
the LVP will be immediately communicated to ACFT and ATC services implicated.
RVR values will be supplied by ATC as follows:
- RVR ALPHA:
TDZ
- RVR BRAVO: MID
- RVR CHARLIE: END
During CAT II/III APCH LDG CLR will not be given after the ACFT is located at 2NM from TDZ and will only
be supplied when ILS sensitive areas are vacated. Every ACFT on final at 2NM from TDZ without CLR
to land, will have to execute MISAP.
LVP will be cancelled when:
- all the transmissometer register RVR values higher than 1000m.
- cloud base height is 90m (300ft) according to the meteorological report and the tendency is to
increase these values.

Taxi/Parking
ARR ACFT:
- report RWY vacated.
- after vacating RWY, if no taxi instructions have been received, ACFT will hold on TWY before entering
APN, to wait for taxi instructions from follow-me.
Code letter F ACFT must taxi with external ENG in idle PWR.
For ACFT with wingspan wingspan 52m / 171ft or above require to make oversteering manoeuvre:
- Curved sections of TWY D and C2 to exit/access to APN.
- Curved sections of the access T1 and T7 to RWY THR.
ACFT with wingspan 65m / 213ft or above, carry out oversteer turn to entry to stand 2A on Ramp 2.
Standard Taxi Routes for Code Letter F ACFT
Arrival:
- RWY 04: RWY exit via T1, taxiing via parallel TWY T till gate D access to Ramp 2.
- RWY 22: RWY exit via T7, taxiing via T6 till gate D access to Ramp 2.
Departure:
- RWY 04: APN exit via C2, taxiing via T5, T6, T7 till THR 04.
- RWY 22: APN exit via C2 till TWY T4, taxiing via T till THR22.
APU: Use of APU restricted to 2min after block-on and 5min before off-block time.
Engine Run-up Areas
ENG tests higher than idle PWR to be carried out at stand 12 of APN 2 and HLDG PSN on TWY TA6.
Warnings
VFD DVOR unusable in sectors 355-005 and 220-315.
VTO LOC 04: Only AVBL between +010/-010 of RCL from 25NM at 5500ft AMSL or above.
Signal may not be received between 7NM and 17NM when flying more than 024 right
and 015 left from CL.
GP 04:
Signal may not be received when flying right of CL and below the path.
Birds in vicinity of AD.
