Have sheets photocopied and ready to hand out.
Have book at the right page.

- Constantly walk around the room helping those
that are having difficulty
- Have one student hand out sheets

Say good mornings to students, read role.

Refer to book, ask students to read the sound, say and repeat.
Play CD have students stand up and sing along, play two more times.
Lesson Steps (Lesson content, structure, strategies & Key Questions):
Talk about words which have the NG sound in them. Give clues about the
words. Ie im thinking of something.
Write ng sound words on the think boards.
Then have a student hand out the sheets.

Students are to take the sheet and go to their desks and circle the NG in the
words, glue in, write the ng on the line several times until the end.
Students are to then colour until the rest of the class is finished.

Lesson Closure:(Review lesson objectives with students)
Go over the ng sound again ask students to tell me some words which have
the NG sound in them with hands up. Move on to Shared book reading.
