1. TITLE OF THE PROJECT:
ANALYSIS STUDY OF FINDING AN EFFICIENT COMMON WAY TO REMOVES HEAT FROM
INTERIOR OF THE CAR IN TROPICAL CLIMATE
2. PROBLEM STATEMENT
When car is parked under direct sunlight or at unshaded area, the
temperature in the interior of the car will rise. This situation caused many
problems such as:
o Thermal comfort in the car cannot be achieved due to high
temperature.
o Degradation of car cabin materials.
o Human health can be effected.
3. OBJECTIVES
a. To analyze the increasing of temperature in the interior of car during hot
weather.
b. To analyze the efficiency of common way used to remove heat from interior
car during hot weather.
4. METHODOLOGY
a. Parameter that cover in the study:
i. Car with window film applied at all the windows of the car.
ii. Car with window film and sun shade applied at all the windows of the
car.
b. Experiment will be tests by four different cases
i. Air conditioning system running, all doors are open.
ii. Air conditioning system running, all doors are close.
iii. Air conditioning close, all windows are open.
iv. Air conditioning close, all doors are open.
