PROFILE

Online news:An ONLINE NEWSPAPER, also known as a web newspaper, is a newspaper that
exists on the World Wide Web or Internet, either separately or as an online version of a
printed periodical.
Going online created more opportunities for newspapers, such as competing with
broadcast journalism in presenting breaking news in a timelier manner. The credibility
and strong brand recognition of well-established newspapers, and the close
relationships they have with advertisers, are also seen by many in the newspaper
industry as strengthening their chances of survival. The movement away from the
printing process can also help decrease costs.
Online newspapers are much like hard-copy newspapers and have the same
legal boundaries, such as laws regarding libel, privacy and copyright, also apply to
online publications in most countries, like in the UK. Also in the UK the Data Protection
Act applies to online newspapers and news pages, as well as the PCC rules in the UK.
But the distinction was not very clear to the public in the UK as to what a blog or forum
site was and what an online newspaper was. In 2007, a ruling was passed to formally
regulate UK based online newspapers, news audio, and news video websites covering
the responsibilities expected of them and to clear up what is, and what isn't, an online
publication.

cognitive endeavors. People with high NFC put more effort into their consumption

objectives of stating the newspaper too.It is important to know the aims and objectives
of newspapers.
All news sources are biased with most of them being in favor of the democrat
party.

Feasibility Study

Definition:An analysis of the ability to complete a project successfully, taking into account legal,
economic, technological, scheduling and other factors. Rather than just diving into a
project and hoping for the best, a feasibility study allows project managers to investigate
the possible negative and positive outcomes of a project before investing too much time
and money. A is performed by a company when they want to know whether a project is
possible given certain circumstances. Feasibility studies are undertaken under many
circumstances - to find out whether a company has enough money for a project, to find
out whether the product being created will sell, or to see if there are enough human
resources for the project. A good feasibility study will show the strengths and deficits
before the project is planned or budgeted for. By doing the research beforehand,
companies can save money and resources in the long run by avoiding projects that are
not feasible.

project something that can be completed? The economic feasibility study is more
commonly called the cost/benefit analysis.

Cultural Feasibility- what will the impact on both local and general cultures be?
What sort of environmental implications does the feasibility study have?

Legal/Ethical Feasibility- what are the legal implications of the project? What
sort of ethical considerations are there? You need to make sure that any project
undertaken will meet all legal and ethical requirements before the project is on
the table.

Resource Feasibility- do you have enough resources, what resources will be

required, what facilities will be required for the project, etc.

Operational Feasibility - this measures how well your company will be able to
solve problems and take advantage of opportunities that are presented during
the course of the project

Comprehensive Feasibility- this takes a look at the various aspects involved in

the project - marketing, real estate, cultural, economic, etc. When undertaking a
new business venture, this is the most common type of feasibility study
performed.

Behavioral Feasibility- The behavioral feasibility relates to the impact of

proposed system on the user of the system that is how their feel about the
proposed system.

Steps in Feasibility Analysis:Eight steps are involved in the feasibility analysis. They are:
o Form a project team and appoint a project leader.
o Prepare system flowcharts.
o Enumerate potential proposed systems.
o Define and identify characteristics of proposed system.
o Determine and evaluate performance and cost effectiveness of each
proposed system.
o Weight system performance and cost data.
o Select the best-proposed system.

project planning. The objective of software project planning is to provide a framework
that enables the manager to make reasonable estimates of resources, cost, and
schedule. These estimates are made within a limited time frame at the beginning of a

A Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) adheres to important phases that are
essential for developers, such as planning, analysis, design, and implementation, and
are explained in the section below. It includes evaluation of present system, information
gathering, and feasibility study and request approval. A number of system development
life cycle (SDLC) models have been created: waterfall, fountain, and spiral build and fix,
rapid prototyping, incremental, and synchronize and stabilize. The oldest of these, and
the best known, is the waterfall model: a sequence of stages in which the output of each
stage becomes the input for the next.

SDLC Phases:-

Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) was introduced to address the problems
faced during the software development process. SDLC is a disciplined and systematic
approach that divides the software development process into various phases, such as
requirement, design, and coding. The phase-wise development process helps to track
schedule, cost, and quality of the software projects life cycle.

System Investigation:The system investigation stage addresses the needs or opportunities that can be
achieved by a sponsor or IT proposal. During this step, we must consider all current
priorities that would be affected and how they should be handled. Before any system
planning is done, a feasibility study should be conducted to determine if creating a new
or improved system is a viable solution.. The development process can only continue
once management approves of the recommendations from the feasibility study.

Requirement analysis and specification:Includes gathering, analyzing, validating, and specifying requirements. At the end of this
phase, the Software Requirement Specification (SRS) document is prepared. SRS is a
formal document that acts as a written agreement between the development team and
the customer. SRS acts as input to the design phase and includes functional,
performance, software, hardware, and network requirements of the project.

Design Phase:Includes translation of the requirements specified in the SRS into a logical structure that
can be implemented in a programming language. The output of the design phase is a
design document that acts as an input for all the subsequent SDLC phases.

Implementation Phase:Implementation is the fourth phase of the systems development life cycle.
Implementation proceeds after the system development phase has taken place. It is the
process by which technical, personnel, and administration issues are addressed and
involve the review of hardware and software, the physical installation, the documenting
of procedures, and the training of all personnel.

Coding
Includes implementation of the design specified in the design document into executable
programming language code. The output of the coding phase is the source code for the
software that acts as input to the testing and maintenance phase.

Testing
Includes detection of errors in the software. The testing process starts with a test plan
that recognizes test-related activities, such as test case generation, testing criteria, and
resource allocation for testing. The code is tested and mapped against the design
document created in the design phase. The output of the testing phase is a test report
containing errors that occurred while testing the application

Maintenance
Includes implementation of changes that software might undergo over a period of time,
or implementation of new requirements after the software is deployed at the customer
location. The maintenance phase also includes handling the residual errors that may
exist in the software even after the testing phase.
