On July 29, 2015 the President of the Philippines delivered his sixth State of the
Nation Address, he had delivered accomplishments and plans for our country and as a
student I see that there are improvements that gave me benefits in transportation and
as a legal management student the significance that I see is that the government was
able to enact such bills that was necessary for everyone to benefit from.
I was not able to watch the whole thing on television, online articles and online
videos is what I relied on the continuation of the SONA. I noticed that during the
Presidents speech that he failed to mention about the expansion of Chinese territories
in the West Philippine Sea. Good news though is that President Aquino called for
passage of anti-dynasty law that would limit the number of people per family who can
run for office and I believe that it would also lessen the birth and continuity of a corrupt
government.
In conclusion the President was able to improve and pass bills but a flaw I
noticed in his entire SONA is him centering it all about his administrations success or
accomplishments, he failed in addressing the problem with China about our land and
said only We are facing a challenge in the West Philippine Sea. When it comes to
reason and love for country, we do not fall behind,
