The Falcons family is growing; we will welcome over

50 new reception age children who will be joining
us in the new academic year. On Wednesday we
had an induction meeting to meet the parents and
share information about the school.
End of Year Trip
Last week, children were asked to vote for
their preferred end of year trip. After all
the excitement and heated discussions, the
overwhelming majority chose Twin Lakes
Theme Park in Melton Mowbray!
Twin Lakes is a family-friendly theme park
and consists of a small zoo, falconry centre, roller coaster, log flume, assault
course, waterpark and more!
The trip has been booked for
Tuesday 28th June for the
whole school. Further details
will be sent after the half
term break.

We have had a busy few weeks in school

and this week saw our Year 2 children
completing their SATs. Well done to all
of our Year 2 children, who have successfully completed these Statutory tests.
They have worked hard
and we have been very
proud of the way they
have taken the tests in
their stride.

Summer Fete 2016

We are all excited about this years Summer
Fete, organised by Friends of Falcons. This
will be held on Saturday 18th June 2016 from
11.00am3.00pm . There will be lots of fun
activities, stalls, games, bouncy castle and
lots more fun for the family. Raffle tickets
are now on sale at the office for 1 each.

Reminders and notices

Healthy bodies, healthy minds
At school, children are entitled to a healthy
balanced diet. Packed lunches should also be
healthy and balanced. Please do not send fast
food, or sugary drinks. We are now checking
childrens lunch boxes and encouraging them to
make healthy choices.
