    I,asthedelegateUnitedStatesofAmerica,amattemptingtopointyourattentiontowardthe
    currentconflictinIsraelandPalestine.ThisresolutionisacknowledgingthattheIsraelisand
    Palestinianshavebeen
    fightingformanydecades

    andthatpeacehasbeendrivenfartherand
    fartheraway,andanimmediatesolutionisneededtostoptheviolence.Ibelievethatthis
    resolutioncanputan
    endtothisquickly
    andprovideanalternatelifetothePalestinianrefugees
    surroundingIsrael.AndbringingtoattentionthatPalestinewas
    neverrecognizedasanofficial
    state,simplyanoccupiedterritory
    ,andaswellevidencedinthisresolution,
    Taking

    into
    consideration
    thatPalestinianrefugeesarenotbeingheldagainsttheirwillfrommigratinginto
    countriesotherthanIsraelandoverpopulatedcities.

    Resolution2Cisaddressingtheoptionof
    havingallpossiblecountriessurroundingIsraelabsorbthePalestinianrefugeeswhofeelthat
    theyhavetherighttoreturntowhattheyconsidertheirhomeland.Resolution2Calso
    acknowledges,asafact,thatPalestinehas
    refusedmultiplepeacefuloffers
    withIsraelandthe
    UnitedStatestogether,continuedtoattackIsraelirefugees,andprolongedtheunnecessary
    violence.TheUSfeelsthatthiswas
    unrecognizedinotherresolutions
    suchas2A,whichalso
    failstoaddressthehomelandoftheJewishpeople.TheUnitedStatesacceptsthatresolution2C
    allowstheJewishpeopletoretaintheirhomelandandreligioussites
    ,andrefusestherightof
    returntothePalestinianswhileallowingthemtovisittemporarily.Butthismaybetheonly
    possibleattemptatpeacewithintheMiddleEastamongtheJewishpeople,aswellasfindinga
    betterplaceforthePalestinianstoliveinpeace.IfthePalestiniansacceptthisoffer,theywill
    havethechancetoliveanormallife.
    Thisresolutionwouldbeabletocreatepeace
    throughout
    theMiddleEastifagreeduponbyallpartiesandTheUnitedStateswishesforyoutoconsider
    theviolenceinthisworldtoday.
