TEAM CONTRACT

The following contract is applicable from 25th April 2016, till the end of the academic year of
2016-17 at the Indian School of Business, Mohali campus.
We, members of study group J-3, agree to the following terms:

Shared Goals:

To learn as much as possible from each other given the uniqueness and diversity of
experiences

To graduate from ISB without any violation to the honor code of conduct

To improve collectively as a team and at an individual level by giving constructive


criticism and also move forward as a group taking every individual along.

To harness the strengths of each member of the group, and attempt to collectively
overcome any weaknesses inherent in us

To learn how to effectively deal with various challenges in a limited time frame, while
balancing personal and group commitments

To understand and address each others concerns and support each other to the fullest in
each task.

Participation Expectations:

Everyone should contribute equally toward group activities

Team members are expected to come prepared before starting on group assignments

It will be good to have timelines set up for individual tasks so that it is easy to track the
progress and bottlenecks at each stage

Decision Making Rules:

Everyone should have equal say while making decisions.

Team members should listen to differing opinions and must use logic and reason to come
to a conclusion

Meeting Guidelines:

Be punctual at all meetings

Be active in voicing opinions on all matters, and be proactive to seek help if there is any
lingering confusion on any decision taken by the rest of the group

Have time boxed meetings for effective utilization of each group members

Handling Disagreements:

Listen to the other person completely and consider that as a possibility before disagreeing
on the stance taken

To follow sound logic while reasoning out on topics

In case of conflict, follow the majority voting rule if there are no experts in that particular
area. In a case when there is expertise, follow the expert

Be open to feedback positive as well as negative

How to give feedback to each other:

To be prompt in the delivery of feedback

Feedback should be constructive and clear.

Appreciate each others efforts from time to time.

Code of Conduct:

Follow the highest standards of ethics and honesty

Create a positive and open environment for learning and sharing knowledge
