Passion: My capstone proposal is based on stress and physical

health in youth environments. Ever since I was a child I have kept

up on my physical health and have been interested in sharing my
views of how important a healthy life style is. I also would like to
pursue a career in the health science.

To spread the general idea of overall correct health to the

Description: A CRNA is a registered nurse and advanced practice nurse who works in

collaboration with anesthesiologists, surgeons and other physicians and medical professionals to
deliver anesthesia for medical and surgical procedures.
Job Outlook: Employment of nurse anesthetists, nurse midwives, and nurse practitioners is

projected to grow 31 percent from 2014 to 2024, much faster than the average for all
occupations. Growth will occur because of an increase in the demand for healthcare services.
Several factors will contribute to this demand, including a large number of newly insured
patients resulting from healthcare legislation, an increased emphasis on preventive care, and the
large, aging baby-boom population.

Reflection:
Throughout the course of my capstone I have learned a
lot of new things that will help me as I continue on my
career path. I have had a very keen insight on the very job I
would like to do and I know now that I still want to continue
this career. The nursing career seems more and more
appealing and achievable now that I have followed the nurse
I want to be. Not only have I had a valuable experience with
my mentor I have learned that I am an influence to different
people in my online community. I reached out to over one
hundred people on my blog and know they have read and at
least considered my ideals. More than benefiting myself I
have benefited the online community with the sharing of my
ideals.
