REFLECTION
(TO BE COMPLETED
AFTER YOU TEACH)
Overall, the lesson went very well. While this lesson was an introduction to
nouns and verbs, I feel like I helped the students understand what they are and
the difference between the two. I definitely need to plan better because I did run
out of time and the students had to complete the game during their literacy
centers but they enjoyed it. Most were moving onto the next levels of the game
but others were still have some trouble. Looking back at the worksheets I
collected, they had trouble with words like day and sleep. After the lesson, they
kept coming up to and thanking me for teaching them about nouns and verbs. I
know that they will remember this lesson and carry this knowledge with them.
