ALTERNATE GOALS
-Adapt the goals/outcome/expectations
for the same materials (for students of
moderate to severe disabilities)

1) Student locates color of states while
others are naming states

PARTICIPATION
-Adapt the extent to which a learner is
actively involved in that task

1) Student holds globe while others
point out locations
2) Ask student to lead a group

LEVEL OF SUPPORT

1) Increase the amount of personal
assistance
2) Reinforce or prompt a specific skill
3) Enhance adult/student relationship
by use of physical space and
environmental structure
