1998 Students hold a protest during the Universities annual campus graduation to bring awareness of the lack of students of color 1999 QPOC is created. The LGBT Resource Center is established. Student of Color Conference (SOCC) is hosted at UC San Diego. 2007 Students protest against the Dimensions of Culture (DOC) Writing Program in Marshall college for its lack of educating students on the struggles underrepresented students of color face. 2009 All UC wide student walkout on Sept. 29, the first day of the academic year. November 15-16: SAAC members host the annual Student of Color Conference. November 19-21: UC Regents vote to increase student fees by 32% during their meeting at UCLA. SAAC participates in the various actions that took place at UCLA. 2010 February: Compton Cookout is thrown by UCSD Fraternities; Noose is hung on 7th floor of Giesel Library; Koala editor uses racial slur against black students on SRTV; KKK Hood is placed on Dr. Seuss Statue. SAAC holds various actions alongside allies on the University Campus. March 4th: SAAC coordinates and participates in the National Day of Action for Public Education. Thousands of UCSD students participate in the action both on the UCSD Campus and in Downtown San Diego. Art Collective performs at the protest on campus. 2011-

MSA is accepted into SAAC. December 2011: SAAC works with Public Education Coalition and other orgs to Reclaim the CLICS library (slated to be turned into a lecture hall by admin) and re-open it as a student-run 24-hour study space for finals (Reclaim CLICS). The space remains a student-run study space for Winter quarter, after which admin go through with their plans of turning it into a lecture hall.
2012 SAAC created a Gender & Sexuality Chair Position.
2013 ASUCSD passes resolution in support of divesting from corporations such as Northrop Grumman, Alliant Techsystems, General Electric, and others whose technology is used by the Israeli Defense Forces to violate the human rights of Palestinians (from the SJP press release) by a vote of 20-12-1 after four years of Students for Justice in Palestine pushing for this resolution in ASUCSD.
