Students will be able to describe their next vacation by writing a 3-day trip planner using a
website for travelers (www.triphobo.com)
Students will learn common words and expressions about planning a travel by using a
web site aimed at show tourists the best places to visit, restaurants, customer reviews,
advices, etc. for an organized and a good travel experience.
To provide students a space for active interaction, meaning negotiation and ideas
exchange in order to develop communicative skills.
Students will be able to explain accurately future plans.

Warm up: The teacher asks


students to stand up and walk
around the classroom. She plays a
song while the students are
walking. When the song stops the
students are to talk to the near
partner about where they have
traveled in life (whether inside or
outside Colombia) and how did they
feel.

in detail the website and its
sections where they are going to
plan their vacation. She gives an
example on how to plan a travel
there.
Practice: Students work in pairs
and agree on the city they would
like to visit.
Then they go to the web site and
start planning their 3-day vacation
completing the planning worksheet.
