Project Space Essay
In todays society, technology is vastly advancing and consumers are more likely to be
more involved in private space. Private space is an antisocial space for society to get away from
their environment and entertain themselves on social media. Twitter is very popular around the
world because people can share their thoughts and their experiences to their followers. This is a
way for users to see what their friends are doing and ignore whats going around within their
space. But on the Other hand, Public space is a social space that people go to that is open to the
public. For example, accessible public spaces are Parks, Shopping Mall, Library and etc. Parks
are generally a place for people to make friends and become active. These two spaces are
generally used at the same time because people are always on their phones everywhere.
Especially, people that are bored all the time stay on social media because they are just no lives
and are inactive within their environment. Although Twitter prevents people to become active at
recreational parks, Twitter is very beneficial for promoting events, making new friends,
photography and videos.
According to Dr. Adam Fraser, He argues that Were struggling to be adaptable
(YouTube). He claims that people have a hard time transitioning their lives in different situations.
This results the person to feel stress, anxiety, and headaches. These symptoms cause the person
to ignore their peers and go on social media to catch up on their followers. For example, Twitter

users tweet that they are stressed out of their mind and their followers can see or retweet on how
concerned they are for their peers. In the article, Parenting in Public and Private Spaces
examines how parents ideology in participation in sports are important for their children rather
being in inside the house on social media. Parents are concerned that their child will be
unhealthy and not participating in physical activates. Virtual reality games are becoming very
popular the demand for consuming these products will rise, therefore, kids are going to become
even lazier because they will be at their homes and not be active.
Twitter is a great way to promote events and to discretely share their opinions about the
events accountable. Recreational parks are held responsible for fundraising and its beneficial for
raising money for charity. Moreover, they also promote events for people that want or need to do
community service which is convenient because its a win for both sides of the party. According
to Greer, He states Twitter targets the audience attention by retweeting their status to other
unknown followers (Greer 199). Greer explains that anything the user post on Twitter it spreads
like a virus and it stays on social media. However, flyers are also shared on twitter so that the
community knows that their neighborhood park is holding an event. Twitter is very helpful in
promoting and advertising tournaments in their local park. They hold sports tournaments for the
community to participate and they use twitter to catch the audience attention. Social Medias are
great ways to distribute events because they spread like a virus. People that are generally
interested in these events retweet the event so that they let their peers that they will be attending
to that event.
Because the park is a social space, there is higher chance to make friends easily at a
recreational park. After meeting someone at a park, there will be a 50% chance of following each
other on Twitter. In the article, I Tweet Honestly, I Tweet Passionately: Twitter Users, Context

Collapse, and the Imagined Audience claims that social media messes up peoples personalities
because they live two different lives on social media and in the real world. For example, a person
can be really out going and talkative, but in real life they are shy and insecure within their
surroundings. Twitter is also a great way to have group conversations and planning out ahead for
possible events. They are convenient for clubs that are held within the park and the diagnostics
are very substantial because of the preparation of planning ahead fast and easy Twitter. .
All in all, people keep themselves away from society called the third space. The ability to
adapt to any transition rapidly whether the outcome is bad or good. People with this ability use
this technique to overcome their situations at a fast pace. These steps are flawless because they
immediately forget about the past and primarily focus on the next phase they will go through in
the next few minutes or hours. People with this strategy are more resilient because they are able
to deal with any counter parts that will affect their emotions. Recreational parks gives warmth to
the people to meet new people, join clubs and have a good time. The government provides Parks,
Libraries, and Caf for people to enjoy their public spaces of more an outgoing personality.
There are also certain restrictions that the government restrain from people to getting into public
spaces that are dangerous and disastrous. In addition, twitter and park definitely go together
because you can post pictures, opinions, and videos on the users status on twitter. People use
twitter while theyre at the park and share what they are thinking about in the park. Its also
disturbing watching someone on their phones the whole time instead of gazing or playing games
at the park. They just sit all day on their phones not being active at all.
