Air pollution is by far the most

harmful form of pollution in our
environment. Air pollution is cause by
the injurious smoke emitted by cars,
buses, trucks, trains, and factories,
namely Sulphur dioxide, carbon
monoxide and nitrogen oxides. Includes
people lighting up cigarettes and other
drugs like those. Damages mankind with
lung cancer, asthma, allergies and other
various deadly breathing problems.
There for were against pollution.
As the population increases and the
economy starts to develop, pollution
increases with them. Along with
amazing technological advances, the
Industrial Revolution of the mid-19th
century introduced new sources of air
and water pollution. By the middle of the
20th century, the effects of these
changes were beginning to be felt in
countries around the world. In the

1960s, an environmental movement

began to emerge that sought to stem
the tide of pollutants flowing into the
planets ecosystems. in 2007, almost
half (46 percent) of all Americans
resided in counties with unhealthy levels
of either ozone or particle pollution,
according to the American Lung
Association (ALA) Out of this movement
came events like Earth Day, and
legislative victories like the Clean Air Act
(1970) and the Clean Water Act (1972).
Today the leading cause is vehicles and
increased the amount of global
warming. In 1963, in an effort to reduce
air pollution, the U.S. Congress passed
the Clean Air Act, legislation which has
been amended and strengthened in the
ensuing decades.

concerns to rise 50% higher than

anything weve had in history. That
means, as soon as we step into indoor
areas, we will be contaminated and like
to experience uncomfortable reactions.
To prevent indoor air pollution,
here are some steps to help you along
the way:

Causes of the problem: Indoor air

pollution occurs when certain air
pollutants from particles and gases
contaminate the air of indoor areas.
There are many causes of indoor air
pollution. For example, Formaldehyde.
One of the most common indoor air
pollutants, can cause health problems.
The consequences come with irritation
of the throat, eyes, and nose, as well as
allergic reactions.
As of today, indoor air pollution is
causing dirty water, expansion of health
problems, and most of all, the
environment. This is a very big global
health concern and it needs to be
stopped immediately.
In the future, we will cause health

1.Avoid use of unvented gas or

kerosene space heaters.
2. Keep gas appliances and furnaces
properly adjusted.
3. Install and use exhaust fans.
4. Change filters on heating/cooling
systems and air cleaners.

5. Increase of supply of outside air.

6. Proper location of air intakes to avoid

exhaust from vehicles.

Those who oppose against

pollution are for pollution.
They want pollution to
continue, and letting it
happen by transportations,
factories and more. Those
who are for pollution dont

care about the health

problems it can cause.
Pollution has caused lung
cancer and even death! This
is why we are against
pollution and want it to stop
immediately!
