Love Bunnies

By Erika Hughes

Just in time for Valentines Day! Make two: keep one, and give one to your
own love bunny! These bunnies are so simple, you can make them now for
Valentines and by Easter you just might have a whole family of love
bunnies ;-)
Materials:
Yarn: The bigger red love bunny was made with worsted-weight acrylic.
The smaller pink love bunny was made with DK/sport weight acrylic.
Hook: 3.0mm
Fiberfill
Small pebbles or plastic beads
Small amount of contrasting yarn for mouth and nose
Ribbon for bow-tie

The love bunnies are worked in a spiral dont join rows!

Stuff head with fiberfill. Put a few plastic pellets or pebbles in bottom of body (I
secure mine first in a small pouch made of pantyhose which I sew shut), then
stuff remainder of body with fiberfill. Sew head to body. Sew ears to top of head
(do not stuff). Embroider eyes and nose. Add ribbon or bow-tie, if desired. Hop
into the sunset!
