OBJECTIVES:
Psychomotor
1. The students will learn how to perform locomotor movement individually and within groups by dancing to a
folk song.
Cognitive
1. The students will learn (memorize) the steps to Savila Se Bela Loza and apply the choreography to the music.
Affective
1. The student will learn about dances around the world and about different cultures while learning to work
cooperatively as a group.
CALIFORNIA K-5 DANCE and/or PE STANDARDS:
Part 1. Introductory Activity:
PE Standard 3.7 Sustain continuous movement for an increasing period of time while participating in moderate to
vigorous physical activities

Part 2. Lesson Focus:

take one schottische step moving right.

students will discuss the importance of working
together as a group. Additionally, students will
learn about dances from around the world and of
their importance in those cultures.
